Faculty vision
The Oran Park High School PDHPE faculty are dedicated to offering students with opportunities that will; engage and challenge all students to take full advantage of their individual talents and abilities, empower students to maintain safe and healthy lives, inspire all students to enjoy learning and to be enthusiastic, insightful and proficient learners, provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding that will support lifelong physical activity.
As a faculty our goal is to create future focussed students and present all students with the skills to work collaboratively with others, whilst being critical and creative. We envisage creating an environment where students learn through movement. Students are provided with opportunities to practise, develop and refine their physical, social and emotional skills that are important for leading a healthy, safe and active lifestyle.
Sport
Sport is an integrated model with Years 7 and 8 provided with one 75 minute lesson a week. Oran Park High School will be entering CHS knock out competitions, which allows students to play in a competitive environment against other schools in the Sydney South West region and the state. Students are provided further sporting opportunities through participation in our Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country Carnivals.
